'Apply Lean Principles across the IT organization'

David P. Spencer, Associate VP and Gerhard Plenert, Ph.D., senior principal, Infosys' High-Tech and Discrete Manufacturing practice, made a case for Lean, Toyota's methodology for continuous improvement in Mbtmag.com

 

Infosys' experts believe that Lean can be leveraged by engineering, front and back offices, R&D and in IT to improve operations by eliminating waste from the existing environment.

 

Infosys has demonstrated that by eliminating non value-added waste, companies in Discrete Manufacturing can double the capacity, throughput and output of the organization while simultaneously reducing the inventory of IT, be it in a single factory or an entire IT organization.
