Session description

The IPTV market can be segmented as a mass market focusing on entertainment and value-added services, an enterprise market concentrating on productivity enhancement such as e-learning for enterprise customers, government sector and vertical market. IPTV for enterprise is untapped and can generate additional revenue for service providers.

 

This session discusses the characteristics and applications on the IPTV enterprise. It will deliberate on issues like managing content security and the models to deliver IPTV services and applications for enterprises.

Ram Kumar

Ram Kumar is responsible for the growth of worldwide R&D services at Infosys. He has a track record of executive and operational leadership in building businesses around computing and communication infrastructure products and services. Prior to Infosys, as founder and CEO of WIncNet Corp., Ram focused on enterprise seamless mobility. He specializes in SOA, networking and wireless infrastructure, security, mobility management and protocols. Ram has authored several articles for industry magazines and has spoken widely at industry conferences.
